Electronics Project Engineer

The Role

  • Gathering requirements from stakeholders & wider teams to create system specs from this
  • Sourcing parts to meet requirements
  • Supporting the Electronics department on variety of tasks
  • Carrying out test work
  • Rig based and vehicle based testing with electrical systems
  • Diagnosing issues of electrical systems
  • Generating project documentation
  • Assisting with timing plans
  • Finding and liaising with suppliers
  • Hands on building of prototype electrical systems
  • Quality investigations in order to find route cause and feedback to improve future designs
  • Proactive, self starter, ability to self manage
  • Time management
  • Communication with line manager and other areas of business
