Production Technician – G1

Inexperienced or Junior build technician working in production to assemble EAV cargo bikes.

Working in one of 3 build areas:

  • Body & Box Build – Production of the vehicle body (cab) & cargo boxes:
    • Assembly of vehicle bodies by riveting & bonding
    • Assembly of cargo boxes
    • Fitment of wiring harnesses
    • Body panel fitment
    • Adherence to customer specification
    • Component & finished assembly quality inspection
  • Sub-Assembly of Parts – Assembling parts & preparing kits for bike build:
    • Assembly of bike components from child parts into sub-assemblies
    • Building & testing of wiring harnesses
    • Kitting of vehicle line side parts
    • Component & finished assembly quality inspection
  • Trim & Final – Building complete bikes ready for delivery to the customer:
    • Assembly of chassis components to build the rolling chassis
    • Fitment of the powertrain & drivetrain
    • Wiring loom installation
    • Body & box fitment
    • Suspension, wheels and brake fitting
  • Uphold 5S for the production areas
  • Work with colleagues on root cause analysis for problem solving


The person

  • Mechanical experience is preferable, but not essential
  • Training provided to gain necessary experience in order to work independently
  • Reporting into the Lead Technician
